Role Description:
• Assist patients with meal orders and dietary requirements
• Prepare and serve tea, coffee, meals, and snacks to patients
• Collect food orders from vendors and ensure timely delivery to patients
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food hygiene standards
• Replenish food and pantry stock as required
• Receive and store deliveries appropriately
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of consumables
• Provide a positive patient experience through excellent customer service and communication
Essential Criteria
• Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience in food preparation, hospitality, healthcare, or a similar environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Full working rights in Australia (WHV 417 applicants considered)
• National Police Check (dated within the last 6 months or willing to obtain)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
