Working as part of a community-based healthcare service, you will be responsible for carrying out modifications and installations that help patients safely remain in their homes.
Duties include:
- Installing grab rails, ramps and other accessibility modifications in residential properties
- Completing minor carpentry works to support patient mobility and independence
- Delivering equipment and materials within the community as required
- Travelling between patient homes and hospital sites
- Liaising professionally with healthcare staff and members of the public
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Carpenter
- Experience in residential maintenance, modifications or general carpentry
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently in community settings
- A current driver's licence and the ability to travel between sites
Essential Requirements
- Australian recognised Carpentry trade papers
- Current White Card
- Full Australian working rights
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
- A detailed resume outlining your relevant experience
Experience in healthcare, aged care, disability services, community maintenance or home modification programs will be highly regarded.
