Position: Exhibition Installation & Production Assistant
Location: Perth Cultural Centre (Northbridge)
Rate:$38.30 Per Hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + Super
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Duration: 12th October until 18th November (potential for additional work)
Integrity Industrial is seeking multiple Exhibition Installation & Production Assistants to support a major exhibition changeover project with a leading cultural organisation.

The initial stage of this project will involve the de-installation of an existing exhibition, including dismantling gallery displays, exhibition furniture and associated infrastructure.

Following this,candidates will assist with the preparation and installation of a new exhibition.
• Assist with the de-installation of a major exhibition
• Dismantle exhibition furniture, display systems and gallery infrastructure
• Load exhibition furniture and materials into crates for storage and transport
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble and repair exhibition components
• Prepare galleries and exhibition spaces for new installations
• Assist with the assembly and placement of modular wall systems, showcases, plinths and display furniture
• Interpret drawings, plans and installation instructions
• Complete work in accordance with safety requirements and procedures
• Operate hand tools, power tools and material handling equipment
• Work independently and as part of a project team to meet project deadlines
• Assist with exhibition maintenance and general installation activities as required

Essential Criteria
• Competent using hand tools and power tools
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
• Construction Induction White Card
• National Police Clearance (dated within the last 6 months or willing to obtain)

Desirable Criteria
• Experience working in museums, galleries, exhibitions or event installations
• Forklift Licence
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket
• Working at Heights Certification
• Experience using pallet jacks
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
• Trade qualification or background in carpentry, cabinet making, welding, metal fabrication or shopfitting
