Our State Government client
are looking to hire a Workers’ Compensation Claims Advisor
on a temporary assignment
- Hourly Rate: between $67.20 per hour plus super (Level 5.1) and $76.97 per hour plus super (Level 6.1)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 3 months
- Location: Leederville
- Hours of Work: 5 days per week prefered – part time will be considered
All of our roles are temporary assignments and the hourly rates quoted include a 25% casual loading in lieu of leave entitlements.
We are seeking an experienced practitioner with strong technical capability and demonstrated experience managing workers’ compensation claims within a government and/or statutory scheme environment within Western Australia.
You will be required to demonstrate :
- Proven experience in Workers’ Compensation claims management, including strong technical claims handling and injury management skills.
- Sound knowledge of Western Australia Workers’ Compensation legislation and experience working within statutory schemes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting vulnerable customers, delivering empathy-driven and high-quality customer service.
- Strong decision-making and case planning skills, including the ability to set and review reserves and develop effective case strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners (brokers, insurers, legal vendors, regulators).
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance, quality assurance and governance.
- Resilience and the ability to manage competing priorities and complex caseloads.
If successful you will need to provide a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months), undertake 2 reference checks and comply with all departmental onboarding requirements.
