Duties
- Prepares routine written documentation, including correspondence and replying to general enquiries in a timely manner.
- Undertakes research to support delivery.
- Provides support to the delivery of the strategic partnership and trade policy activities, including administrative, finance and logistics support.
- Updates and maintains databases, including client details.
- Provides assistance to events to ensure they run smoothly and with the necessary resources.
- Liaises with a range of stakeholders to ensure collaborative planning.
- Conducts all tasks and activities with a client-focused approach.
- Undertakes other duties as required.
Job requirements
Essential
- Experience providing research or project support.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team and to complete tasks to a high quality within the allocated time and budget.
- Well-developed oral and written communication.
Desirable
- Experience in planning and organising logistics for multi-stakeholder events and/or business delegations.
- Some knowledge of relevant international markets, and Government, cultural and business protocols.
Capabilities
- Organises work across a number of concurrent projects to reflect priorities and achieves outcomes within timeframes.
- Uses appropriate techniques to accurately access, research, analyse and report on information or data.
- Works collaboratively to achieve tasks with both internal and external customers.
