Hours: Part-time, 5-day fortnight
Rate: $61.20 per hour plus superannuation
Start: Immediate start available
Requirement: Must hold or be able to obtain a WA Police Clearance
A temporary opportunity is available for an experienced Project Support Officer to join a busy immunisation program team. In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of key program functions by supporting reporting, implementation, and administrative activities aligned with project plans and objectives. You will liaise with the public and relevant stakeholders to assist with planning, data collection, and reporting processes, and prepare timely responses to correspondence, requests, and reviews under supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of immunisation policies and programs
  • Providing project and operational support, including responding to enquiries from the public, immunisation providers, and stakeholders
  • Updating and collating documentation and records to support the delivery of immunisation projects and programs
  • Undertaking basic research and analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, R, SQL and/or Power BI, and contributing to project briefs
  • Supporting the project team to implement plans and achieve agreed outcomes
  • Communicating with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and implementation issues
  • Responding to requests for information on immunisation projects and programs
  • Providing secretariat and administrative support, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and preparing documentation
  • Undertaking other duties as required
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
  • Experience in project support, including preparing documentation such as discussion papers, briefings, and meeting minutes
  • Experience in research, analysis, and problem solving, including the use of data systems and analysis tools
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement
Desirable attributes include:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or progress towards one
  • Experience using VaccinateWA
  • Understanding of the WA Immunisation Program and the Australian Immunisation Register
