Role Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Deputy Director General or Executive Director.
- Minute taking on a regular basis.
- Manage complex diaries, correspondence, briefing materials and meeting preparation.
- Coordinate meetings, events, travel and hospitality arrangements.
- Prepare reports, briefings and undertake research as required.
- Liaise with senior internal and external stakeholders and follow up actions.
- Manage purchasing, expenditure records and provide committee support.
- Support the Office of the Director General and Departmental Coordination Unit as required.
The following outlines what experience and qualifications are required to undertake this role:
- Considerable experience in providing executive support at a senior level.
- High level of organisational and planning skills, including diary management.
- Well developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with people at all levels, maintain confidentiality and use discretion in relaying information.
