Our State Government client is looking to hire a Strategic Procurement Analyst on a temporary assignment
 
  • Hourly Rate:$58.58 per hour plus super  
  • Start Date: ASAP                  
  • Assignment Length: 3 months (possible 3 month extension)
  • Location: East Perth
  • Hours of work : 8 hours per day (30 min unpaid lunch break) – 40 hours per week

If successful you will need to provide a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months) and undertake 2 reference checks.

In this role as a Strategic Procurement Analyst , you will be tasked with leading and delivering the strategic procurement and contract management activities that enable the division to operate, maintain, and upgrade its service portfolio in alignment with the Strategic Asset Management plan.

Supports the Division with thorough stakeholder engagement and provides appropriate assistance with procurement activities and contracting matters.

To be considered you will be required to have :

  • Substantial knowledge and/or experience of government contracting and procurement policies, procedures, issues, and strategic direction
  • Substantial experience in integrating data from multiple sources to support procurement and contract management planning and decision making.
  • Proven expertise in performing and advising on managing high-risk and high-value contract management.
  • Substantial experience in the preparation of policies, procedures and strategies at a senior level in a complex technology asset intensive organisation.
  • Well-developed leadership skills with the ability to work with others at all levels and across an organisation in a professional way
  • Ability to think long term and strategically
