Our State Government client is looking to hire a Senior Contracts Officer on a temporary assignment

Hourly Rate:$45.88 per hour plus super
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 3 months (possible 3 month extension)
Location: East Perth

All of our roles are temporary assignments through Integrity Executive

If successful you will need to provide a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months), undertake 2 reference checks and comply with any departmental onboarding requirements

In this role as a Senior Contracts Officer , you will be tasked with the implementation, management and administration of contracts throughout the contract lifecycle.

Supporting the Divisional representatives with thorough stakeholder engagement and appropriate assistance on procurement and contracting matters.

To be considered you will be required to have :

Substantial knowledge and/or experience of government contracting and procurement policies, procedures, issues, and strategic direction.
Well developed written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Well developed ability to influence and facilitate consensus.
Well developed analytical and problem solving skills, including financial analysis skills
Considerable planning and organisational ability, in particular, the ability to assess the importance and urgency of tasks in relation to competing interests and timelines .
